The Meat Judging Contest is open to all Texas junior exhibitors. There is no limit to the number of teams a 4-H club or FFA chapter may enter. The following classes will be judged: six beef grading carcasses, six placing classes, two sets of questions, and a written exam which will include twenty-five, two point questions. Contestants must bring their own white frocks, hard hats, proper foot wear, and hair nets to wear during the contest. For more rules and regulations please review the Livestock Premium Book.
